Donât forget about cogging effect.
Iâve made a mistake when I was searching for my motor.
Applying anticogging algorithm doesnât help in letâs say bigger constructions (I can feel a difference with/without anticogging when Im trying to rotate a shaft of the motor itself, however when I pull at the end of all mechanics connected to the shaft - thereâs no difference).
If the operation needs to be smoothâŚi was told⌠I should use an ironless/coreless motor.
Im thinking now about wind turbine generator.
Hi, thanks, Iâm finding a cheap s/h hoverboard to pull motors out & try first, hopefully cogging wonât be too bad, cheers
You can use a Coreless motor for no cogging, OR a motor with a skewed rotor. See https://www.precisionmicrodrives.com/content/cogging-torque-in-permanent-magnet-motors/
