2S Battery power for Micro?

What would happen if I attempt to drive the ODrive Micro with 6.6v (min voltage of a 2 cell Li-Po pack)? My motor back EMF will be well below this value.

The Micro has a minimum DC voltage of about 6V, so I’d say this should work fine!

Excellent, thank you. The documentation says 10v minimum - where can I find documentation that mentions the 6v number?

We’ve only formally characterized the Micro at 10V and higher. However, I just tested one on my desk at 6.2V and it works fine :slight_smile: 6V is the hard undervoltage trip threshold in firmware.
