I am making a three wheel reverse trike style vehicle that has two powered wheel/motors at the front
and i am planning on using differential motor power for the steering.
The question I have is, in velocity control mode will the Odrive brake / maintain the set speed of one motor while the other is increased rather than naturally over-speeding
in velocity control mode, both motors will independently drive or brake to maintain their set speeds. So for example, if you start to go downhill but don’t change velocity setpoint, then the motors will naturally switch to regenerative braking so that they maintain the set speed.
