Can anyone help here with that problem: “ENCODER_ERROR_ILLEGAL_HALL_STATE”
Getting this error while trying to configure the hoverboard motors. I tried to calibrate the motor which shows no error, no beep and phase res=0. I continued trying to calibrate the hall sensors(encoder) and the wheel are not moving at all and then an error with code 0x00010 appears. I used dump_errors(odrv0) and it showed “ENCODER_ERROR_ILLEGAL_HALL_STATE”. Then I installed 22nf ,50 volt capacitors (I have the 56 volt Odrive version) and it still showing the same thing. The problem occurs on M0. M1 works fine before and after the 22nf capacitors.
Hi, where did you get the info on using the 22nF capacitors? I read a thread on this oDrive forum which explained how they cam to use 22nF, but now I cannot find original thread.
