Instead of encoder, can this driver take Hall signal for feedback?

My motors are those kinds of skateboard motors, they don’t come with encoders.
does ODrive controller take hall signal?

…also, does anyone know any similar BLDC motor controller, like ODrive? Maxon and copley are too expensive and kinda over-kill for my project (LOL, not sure if i should ask about ODrive’s competitors in ODrive’s forum… but whatever hahahha)

Sensorless mode

A new ODrive feature is ready for testing: Sensorless mode. This mode lets you run motors without and enocder. To do this we sacrifice two things: reduced accuracy as compared to an optical encoder, and lack of precise control at low speeds. I found information about this sensorless mode, i guess it could potentially be a solution. but wouldn’t it be better if we provide hall sensor feedback to controller instead of “sensorless”?
