New communication protocol

There is a new communication protocol now available on devel. It is way more efficient, maintainable, and easier to use programatically from python. The plan is to move over to this protocol and eventually deprecate the old printf based one.

To use it, please see the Communication Configuration and Communicating over USB or UART sections of the Firmware Readme.

I’ve had to step away from this project for a few weeks now, but definitely getting excited with all the progress and new things to try when I return in a couple weeks!
