What hub exactly are you using? The isolators definitely draw a bit of power, maybe it’s overloading the hub? Do the lights come on in all the isolators?

hello thank you for your reply and interest in solving my problem. All ground isolators light up when I plug them into the hub. Likely the USB extension cable is the issue – signal integrity with multiple devices is likely too low. Why are you using USB and not CAN bus, which is designed for long wire lengths like that?

everything works fine if I don’t use
ground isolators ( I wanted to increase protection) but I can probably do without it. I use long cables because it has
a computer in the house and a platform in the garden house

I see. Well, you definitely need USB isolators to protect the ODrives. What OS are you using?

I use windows 10. Could you send me a link to the exact site of what I should buy?

I frankly think this is an issue caused by the USB extension cord and/or USB hub. I’d try a 2.0-only hub, or just switch to CAN bus if possible.

I will try first usb hub 2.0 . for a week I will give you
know when I try usb 2.0.thx I don’t know
nothing about cab-bus or how to turn it on and what it needs for that I am not
an expert in these things :frowning:
