So I have the 24v board, getting ready to build a bot with it… And had a question about the battery packs… More specifically, the Lithium battery packs… I had planned on either purchasing, or making a custom lithium battery solution using either 6 (22.2v) or 7 (25.9v). Am I better off sticking with the 6Cell series battery packs, or am I okay to go 7 cells? Last thing I want to do is to burn up the Odrive…
Probably best to stick with 6. Fully charged lithium cells are 4.2V each, so even that is slightly over the 24V limit.
