Simple robot setup help

hello , am a newbie in the odrive platform and i seem fairy lost. i have procured the odrive v3.6 56v board and the d5065 motor as well as the 8192 encoders. i would like to build a simple pwm drive system with max torque from the motors (1.9nm) and at low speeds <400 rpm. Granted i have followed most of the docs but i just cant get it to work. please assist.
also is it possible to set up the system to work sensorlessly?
