That is a very old message. Please update your tool and firmware

pip install --upgrade odrive

And then if you’re on Linux, odrivetool dfu. Otherwise, download the STM32Cube Programmer and flash the board with the newest firmware (0.5.3) or use an STLinkV2 to do the same. See Firmware 0.5.3 Release Thread
