Torque Control Mode

Hello everyone,

Can torque control mode operate without any position feedback(encoder ,hall) ?

If it works, how can i implement. Because ODrive error “unknown phase estimate”

You can use sensorless mode but that requires some speed, so it’s generally only for velocity control mode.

Torque mode you need sensors
