USDigital E6 with odrive?

Hi there,

is anyone using the E6 encoder? Which model is suitable? The part number choices are a bit bewildering :blush:

Never used them but they should work. Get the single-ended version to work out-of-the-box with ODrive (Differential one would need RS422 recievers)
With index is better, can avoid full calibration on every start up.

I personally prefer absolute SPI encoders such as AS5047P or MA732 - these do not need to be disconnected from the load for calibration or index search on start-up. There are a few minor technical issues with each, but worth it IMO
