What is the principle of phase resistance measurement

I want to understand the measurement principle of phase resistance in odrive so as to write my own code, but I can’t find the relevant documentation. Who can help me?Thank you!

I assume the Odrives calculate the phase resistance by measuring the current and voltage. You can check out the code here
