It was briefly mentioned in this thread that ODrive can work with a 3-phase stepper motor. These seem to be cheap and easily obtainable and come in nice, easy-to-use NEMA enclosures.
Is it true that these are compatible with ODrive? Are there any reasons why a BLDC or AC motor would be preferable? I’m looking at a CNC application and these seem ideal to me.
They should theoretically work with no changes.
