What are the current requirements for the 5V supply? Just want to make sure I don’t run into any problems related to not providing enough current on the 5V input. I know providing sufficient current is important for a lot of the common single board computers out there. I’m sure the STM32 chip is a bit power hungry given it’s high performance nature.
I haven’t made these measurements myself, but according to the datasheet the 3.3V supply current for the STM32R40X seems to top out around a lower than expected 5mA for a 8MHz clock at 25 degC. It looks like it is safe to supply the +5V/3.3V power from just about anything that passes electrons out of its pins.
