A power supply with 4s battery

Hi,
I try a power supply with 4S battery.
Can I connect the battery to Odrive directly?
Do I need a power management board between the battery and Odrive?
Please advise me.

ODrive will work happily with a lithium battery - you don’t need a charge controller, you can configure the maximum charge and discharge currents and max/min voltage.
Beware though, that ODrive cannot go to complete low power shutdown, so you need a disconnect switch otherwise it will slowly drain the battery.
