Brake Resistor power and value calculation example

I could not find a real-world odrive specific brake resistor calculation example using the equations in the documentation, so I would like to share my process below.

I’d also like any feedback if folks see an error in how I’m approaching this.

One thing you’re missing is the duty cycle. If you’re only braking 5% of the time, you only need 5% of 2000W

Also, the brake resistor is limited to 90% modulation.
