Circular Can Loop for Odrive S1 and raspberry pi with a can hat

I was wondering how I could do a circular CAN loop for daisy chaining multiple Odrive s1s, with a Raspberry Pi 4B CAN hat (RS485). I want to avoid star-looped CAN since (correct me if I’m wrong), the CAN hat cannot handle more than 1 set of CAN connections, and a star-looped CAN would require many can connections at the same time.

Hi! Both circular and star CAN loops are strongly discouraged. Instead, the devices should be connected along a linear bus, with 120 ohm termination resistors on each end.

In fact, the ODrive S1 has passthrough CAN connectors, specifically designed for daisy-chaining with the JST-GH CAN cable
