Encoder mounting

Hello,

I have bought the “DUAL SHAFT MOTOR - D6374 150KV” brushless DC motor and also the " 8192 CPR ENCODER WITH ODRIVE CABLE" to use for the ODrive but I’m a little confused about how to mount the encoders on the motor. On page 9 of https://www.cuidevices.com/product/resource/amt10e.pdf, during step 4, what kind of screws are necessary and how big should they be exactly? The holes do not seem to line up very good either.

You should 3D print a housing for the motor, and mount the encoder to that.

You have to 3D print the enclosure for the D6374 150KV motor.

It will allow you to fit the 8192 CPR ENCODER and fan for heat dissipation, it looks like that:
