How to increase the speed when use position control mode with massive points

Hi,guys
I want to use two motors and odrive to draw some simple figures precisely and fast, such as cicles , rectangles . I do the trajectory planning and I get a lot of ponits with coordinates. Then I put these points to the odrive one by one. The movement at a very slow speed when constantly setting the value of pos_setpoint at position control mode, although the result is precise. So How to increase the speed when use position control mode with massive points?
