Using AMS AS5047p / odrive 3.6
I accidentally wired the encoder in wrong order,
Ground wire and 5 volt wire were exchanged,
now
Encoder offset calibration is not working properly
Motor spins in one direction and then Error 0x0004 appear
ERROR_ENCODER_FAILED
and
ERROR_NO_RESPONSE or ERROR_CPR_OUT_OF_RANGE
i rewired he wires correctly
and tried erase configuration and resetting the parameters with CPR and all other parameters
but still the same ERROR
so
i think my Encoder is dead, right ?
Yes, it’s dead. But it may be cheaper for you to desolder the chip and buy a new one.
