Motor overshooting then eventually finding position

This is the problem I am having, any ideas?

Its not going directly to its position, it seems to get there but has to go back and forth a few times to get there.

It looks to me like the mechanical connection between the motor and the encoder is poor. Can you please verify that there is a very solid connection?
If this doesn’t solve it, you can also check the electrical connection of the motor to the ODrive.

Thanks for the help! I tried a different encoder and it seems to be working correctly. I think it could be the connection between the motor and encoder or an issue with the encoder. Right now with the other encoder (AMT10) I am just holding it in place by hand but even with this working nearly 100%.
