Feel like I’m lost even though there seem to be a lot of posts about ground loops. Have a really weak background in circuits and would honestly appreciate help, or links to diagrams/resources
Note: Mainly referring to this in terms of CAN communication

What is a diagram of a ground loop circuit vs not a ground looped circuit, I don’t think I’m following fully honestly

I have two set ups planned, 1 for testing where I use a lipo to power my motor(s) while using USB to my Teensy to control my motor(s), and 1 where I will use the lipo to a power distribution box, which will connect to the motor(s), and the teensy (through a 5V regulator). What issues will I potentially run into with ground loops?

What is CAN termination, and do I need to do it? I read some stuff about 120 ohm resistors and was kinda confused
