ODrive S1 with a big AC servo motor

Hello, i want to build a force feedback steering wheel with a big yaskawa servo motor that I already have.
The problem is that I have heard that the Odrive S1 and Pro have had difficulty running or dont want to run high inductance motors at all where as the 3.6 does it ok.
I currently only have an option to buy the S1 so I want to clarify if that is true and I have to search for a different motor controller.

Hi! We fixed those high inductance issues - shouldn’t be a problem! I have a mige 130st-10025 that runs great with the S1.
