Odrive S1 with hoverboard motors

Hi everyone,

Did anyone try to connect a hoverboard motor with S1 driver and an external encoder? The idea is to have both hall sensor and an external encoder to have better low speed control.

Hi! Yes, that’s absolutely supported – our botwheels are very similar, with both halls and an incremental encoder.
