Raspberry Pi 3 B+ 2018 model odrivetool not connecting

Hello,

  1. odrivetool works fine on my Macbook pro runningSierra.
  2. I installed all dependent files for odrivetool on Raspbian. Powered the ODrive and connected usb cable (same as the one used with Mac). I get message “Please connect your ODrive.”

I checked the command lsusb and it is there;
Bus 001 Device 032: ID 1209:0d32 InterBiometrics

I just ordered a raspberry pi 3b+, I’ll have a look as soon as it arrives.

i think i used it on a rpi 3 b+ model while investigating the odrivetool takes 30sec to connect i have on win7

it’s not that it does not connect, it’s just too long

i’ll check that it’s indeed this raspi model when i’m back home on friday

I think sphereinabox found sudo odrivetool works. I can confirm. The delay is not too bad , about the same as my Macbook Pro - I am using a Pi3B+.
