I have a motor with a thermistor that I would like to use with an odrive v3.6 running firmware version 5.6. The reference documents show the voltage divider setup with the thermistor on the upper leg. In this configuration as temperature goes up, resistance goes down, output voltage goes up.
My motor has the thermistor connected to ground on one end (thus making it the lower leg). Therefore I can’t use the convenience function for creating coefficients from the the R25 value, Beta, and Lower Leg value. Here as temperature goes up, resistance goes down, output voltage goes down.
In theory I should be able to set the polynomial coefficients directly to account for this. Has anyone else done this? Any issues? Any recommendations for divider component selection?
