EMI concerns with stacking odrives?

I’m setting up several ODrive Pro boards and considering mounting them directly on top of each other to save space. Before I commit to purchasing the 2 odrives, I wanted to check if there are any known issues with electromagnetic interference (EMI) or signal noise when the boards are placed very close together.

Has anyone tried running multiple ODrives in a stacked or compact configuration? I’m mainly curious whether the switching emi can interfere with each other, especially with encoder or communication lines nearby.

If spacing or shielding makes a difference, I’d really appreciate any general recommendations for layout or grounding to help reduce EMI between boards.

Pretty common setup, I think that’s fine! There may be considerations if you’re running the motor phases directly over the board (I haven’t heard of that being an issue before though); I’d generally expect any issues/coupling between phases and signal lines to be more impactful than anything on the board itself – and even then, the Pro’s interfaces are pretty robust to EMI.
