Encoder Calibration Parameters?


I was trying to set up the encoder on our system and there’s a limitation on the range of joint angle where the motor/encoder is mounted to. Since I can’t take the motor/encoder off from the mount, is there anything I can set to limit the number of revs encoder offset calibration takes so that it calibrates within the joint’s range of motion?

Hi! You can decrease calib_scan_dist but it can negatively impact calibration performance.
