Hall effect sensor calibration commands not working

I am using
ODESC v4.2 motor driver and Odrive v3.6 with a Flipsky 5048 BLDC Motor. I have tried the codes from Odrive official website. But the code didn’t run properly. I have tried many times to configure the driver and motor but the motor won’t start. What’s the solution?

Hi - unfortunately we can’t support knockoff devices like the ODESC, it’s a low-quality clone of the ODrive and based on ODrive v3.4 or v3.5. I’d recommend returning the device, since I’ve never heard people getting them to work wel.

As for the v3.6, it seems like you’re using the commands used for new-generation ODrive devices, such as the S1 and Pro. The v3.6 API is older, and the docs can be found here: ODrive Documentation — ODrive Documentation 0.5.6 documentation

I couldn’t update my firmware version. I have tried “odrivetool dfu” command but it didn’t work.

My firmware is showing v0.0.0

my motor beeps after giving this command below.
odrv0.axis0.requested_state = AXIS_STATE_MOTOR_CALIBRATION

and also showing system and DRV fault not found

what can I do to update the firmware version and troubleshoot these two not found things?

Is this with the ODESC or the ODrive v3.6?

ODrive v3.6.

Did you reflash the firmware from an ST-Link or something? Can you please try the “Forcing DFU mode” steps here? odrivetool — ODrive Documentation 0.5.6 documentation
