Odrive v3.4-48V Update to Firmware v0.5.6

I am trying to update the firmware on my Odrive v3.4-48V Update to Firmware v0.5.6 using a ST-Link V2.
I cloned the git repo for the firmware version used make to compile then make flash.
After this I connect to the Odrive over USB and it says Device ____: Not a genuine ODrive! Some features may not work as expected.

Is there something I can do to fix this? The Odrive is genuine and worked without issue on a previous firmware version.

Hi there! Either ODrive v3.4 was before the authenticity flag started being baked into the device (and before the firmware checked for it), or erasing with the ST-Link blanked the parts of the device that stored the flag. However, this shouldn’t affect operation – it’ll just show up as dev0 instead of odrv0.
